ZOOfari Tails Storytime Hear fun stories about dinosaurs at this storytime led by Sunset Zoo docents and children's librarians! A Dinosaur Dig book giveaway is sponsored by Claflin Books & Copies. The zoo will bring some interesting fossils and bones for kids to view and touch. Bring your ZOOfari Tails punch card (or get one at the door). Everyone who attends at least 6 ZOOfari programs in 2013 will be entered in a December drawing for a free family zoo membership for the following year. |

Stories on the Lawn Stories on the Lawn will be held on Saturdays in May at 11:00 on the Poyntz side lawn. Join us for a relaxed storytime on the grass, or bring a blanket or lawn chairs with you. Participants are invited to pack a lunch and snack during the storytime or stay afterwards to enjoy a picnic on the lawn. In case of bad weather, storytime will be held in the library auditorium. Summer storytimes and clubs will begin again on June 3. |

R.E.A.D. with Dogs Children can sign up to read to a certified therapy dog for 15-20 minutes. The R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) program gives kids the opportunity to practice and enjoy reading in a fun environment. Come read to the friendliest dogs around! |

Free Kids' Movie Come watch an action-packed animated adventure about the amazing lives of a house full of superheroes! The super parents used to be among the world's greatest crime fighters, but now they have been forced to live "normal" lives with their three kids. But when Dad gets called to a secret mission, it will require the entire family to save the world. Rated PG; 121 minutes. Summer Reading Kick-Off Party "Aaarrrrrrrrrr!" We're digging into pirate treasure to kickoff summer reading in style. When you arrive, get a treasure map to lead you around the library for games, knowledge, and treasures. All ages can register for the free summer reading program to earn prizes all summer long. Kids can watch a pirate puppet show and/or create pirate disguises in the auditorium. Don't forget your library card (or sign up for one that day) so you can include a pile of books in your bag of treasures. |
