Get your library card!

Anyone can get a free library card. A library card allows you to borrow materials, use public computers, and access online resources. To get a library card, fill out this online registration, then visit the library at 629 Poyntz Avenue to pick up your card. Please bring an I.D. with you.
You will need:
- Completed online registration (or complete a paper registration at the Information Desk)
- Photo identification (driver’s license, passport, student I.D.) with your current address
- Proof of your current address (recently postmarked mail, checks, rent receipt, etc.) if it does not appear on your I.D.
If you have any questions, please call us at (785) 776-4741.
A parent or legal guardian must sign the registration sheet for children under 18 years of age. A parent’s identification may be used for minors. A parent or legal guardian has legal responsibility for his or her child’s use of the library.
Always bring your library card when you visit the library. If you don’t have your card with you, you may check out one time by supplying identification.
